openSUSE Base periodic tester
This is a setup regularly compiling a base set of packages of a
typical Linux distribution using the GCC mainline compiler. Tracked
are individual file compile-time, compile-time peak memory usage and
resulting object file size.
Changes:
- 2007-06-13: Updated glibc installed in build root to version 2.6
- 2007-07-10: Applied a patch to rpm to fix the unused function warning
- 2007-10-01: Applied a patch to binutils to fix compile problems of two testcases
- 2009-01-12: Updated flex source to version 2.5.35 with a patch to fix the C++ testsuite problems
Build status.
Known issues are:
- perl has a testsuite failure that relates to the build setup
- tcl has testsuite failures (not analyzed)
- libtool uses obsolete headers in its testsuite and thus fails
